Voice of the Providers on Wireless Technology
The University of Pittsburgh Department of Rehabilitation Science and Technology has a new study titled "Voice of the Providers on Wireless Technology Survey,” which you or someone in your organization may be eligible to participate in!
What's the purpose? This IRB approved research survey aims to understand therapy and assistive technology providers' experience delivering interventions that incorporate clients' use of mainstream technology (MT), like smartphones, smart home tech, and wearables into interventions.
Who's Eligible? 1) Actively practicing occupational, physical, or speech therapists or assistants, audiologists, assistive technology professionals, vocational rehabilitation counselors, or other health or social service providers in the U.S. 2) Currently provide services to persons with disabilities in the United States
What research activities are involved? If you qualify and consent to participate in this study, you'll complete a 15–30-minute online survey covering demographic information, experience with MT interventions, barriers, facilitators, and education needs. Eligible participants who complete the survey, receive a chance to be chosen at random to receive one of six $25 gift cards
